What a Vapi system integrator does
Vapi is a developer-first voice API platform for creating customizable AI voice agents. It gives teams configurable agent logic, real-time streaming and a choice of language and voice models. With that much control, a phone agent needs a set of decisions and connections around it before it can carry real calls for a business.
A system integrator takes on that work for a client. On a Vapi project it usually covers:
- Call design. What the agent says, what it can do during a call and when it hands the caller to a person.
- Configuration. The agent, the phone numbers, and the model and voice choices in Vapi.
- Connections. Links to the CRM, the calendar and the other systems the business already runs, so a call reads and updates the right record.
- After the call. Summaries, outcomes and follow-up steps routed into the workflows that act on them.
- Testing and launch. Test contacts and real scenarios before any live traffic.
- Support. Reviews of real conversations after launch, with fixes for what goes wrong.
How Sympana got here
Sympana started in December 2022 in Bellevue, Washington, building AI phone systems for businesses. We partnered with Vapi in 2025. Here is the work we bring to Vapi projects.
A native connection to GoHighLevel. Sympana Connector connects Vapi to GoHighLevel, as it does Retell AI, Anyreach, Smallest AI and SigmaMind. For a Vapi agent, Connector places outbound calls from GoHighLevel workflows, starts the next steps when a call ends and brings call data back into the CRM, without a general automation tool in the middle.
Phone number pools. Connector rotates phone number pools with local area-code matching. Its Place Call action can use Smart Selection, which chooses among the available options for each call.
Volume. Across all clients, Sympana processes more than 6 million calls a month. That figure counts calls across all of our work. It does not include money collected, and it isn’t broken down by platform.
Review after launch. Our team reviews real conversations, fixes what goes wrong and tests each change on a small group first.
